Why haven’t we considered a possibility of 0 in this case as it is also an integer? It’s given and b are integers not ‘positive’ or ‘negative’ integers.
Yes, you can certainly consider cases where either a or b is equal to 0. There is no constraint on these variables and they could also be positive or negative. The only thing you have to keep in mind is that 0 is an even integer.
