Hi, I’ve been loving these explanations – I’ve learned SO much. Thank you!!
One small thing, the scenario tested for statement 1 where a yes is obtained – “1 + 6 + 5” is invalid because 6 is divisible by 3 and violates the condition of statement 1 (“none of the numbers that are facing up is divisible by 3”). The yes scenario to test for statement 1 would be “5 + 5 + 2.”
You are absolutely right. The example I used contradicts statement 1 and therefore is inadmissible. This is one of the most common mistakes that students make, and here I am making the same mistake. That is why it pays to be very careful and double check your work on these tricky GMAT problems.
Thanks, I will fix this video shortly. I am glad you are finding explanations helpful.
